Winnie the Pooh Day- January 18

Winnie the Pooh is a children's book written by British author A. A. Millen. The book was published in 1926 and quickly became a world bestseller. Winnie the Pooh is a favorite figure for children and adults all around the world. Over the years, Winnie the Pooh's TV series and animated films have also came out. In the Winnie the Pooh story there is a boy named Christopher Robin, who listens to stories of Winnie the Pooh and his friends from his father. Winnie is a bear that lives in the woods and his friends are Piglet, Rabbit, Eayore, Kanga, Roo, Tigger and Owl. All the characters were based on the toys of the author's son, appears in the story as Christopher Robin (it's his real name). The stories about Winnie the Pooh are full of magic and adventure.
Winnie the Pooh Day is celebrated on January 18, the birthday of writer A. A Milan (18 January 1882- 31 January 1956). This is one of the most lovely special days of the year, a day not to be missed. 
You can celebrate with picnics with lots of honey, read books and watch films of Winnie the Pooh.
